Portrait of Ryan Jones in the workshop
About
The person behind RJ Autotech
RJ Autotech is Ryan Jones. After years spent working on everything from family hatchbacks to hard-worked vans, Ryan set up his own workshop at Dinneswood in Tarves to do the job the way he always thought it should be done.
That means diagnosing a fault properly before quoting for it, explaining what a vehicle actually needs — and what can safely wait — and never carrying out work that hasn't been agreed.
It also means taking pride in the finish. Correct parts, correct torque settings, correct fluids, and a vehicle handed back clean and working as it should.
Ryan lives and works locally, and most customers are neighbours, friends or people they've recommended. That's a good reason to get things right — and the main reason RJ Autotech exists.

How we work with you
We look before we quote
A proper diagnosis first, so the price you're given reflects the actual fault.

What the vehicle needs, why it needs it, and what the options are — no jargon.
We agree before we start
Nothing beyond the agreed work happens without a phone call first.
